Flexible Furloughing

What was Flexible Furloughing?

Flexible furlough, whereby employees could work part time and receive a furlough grant for unworked hours, was an option for employers. As with full furlough, employers needed to have a written agreement in place, detailing the hours the employee would be working and the hours they would be furloughed. An employer could agree any working arrangement with an employee on flexible furlough.
