What is Flexible Furloughing?
Flexible furlough, whereby employees can work part time and receive a
furlough grant for unworked hours, remains an option for employers. As with
full furlough, employers will need to have a written agreement in place,
detailing the hours the employee will be working and the hours they will be
furloughed. An employer can agree any working arrangement with an employee
on flexible furlough.
