Site Inspection Form - Principal Contractor
As Principal Contractor (“PC”) you are responsible for everything that happens on your site, so it is good practice to have regular inspections by your health & safety team.
This Principal Contractor Site Inspection Form has been written to help the inspector go through all the things that the PC needs to keep on top of, from making sure the welfare facilities are in place and that they are properly maintained, to making sure the Risk Assessments & Method Statements of the contractors have been checked and that they are working as they should.
The form has the following sections covering key aspects of site activities:
3. Working at height
7. Plant & Equipment
9. First Aid
10. Traffic management
The section headings have been filled in for convenience but can easily be changed to suit the particular needs of the site.
This form has been written by a safety professional to assist the PC in managing health and safety compliance on a construction site.
