Trade Terms & Conditions Update
In any business transaction it is crucial that both parties are fully aware of their rights and obligations. Communicating this information verbally is rarely sufficient. A well drafted set of terms and conditions always ensures that both parties understand the nature of the transaction and that nobody will be caught unawares.
Designed for use by a variety of tradespeople, our Professional and Trade Terms and Conditions do just that. These documents, written with simplicity and clarity in mind, clearly set out all relevant details relating to the provision of particular services to a customer.
Contracts Made Simply!
These documents have now been updated with the addition of new “contract schedules”. This addition enables the previously stand-alone terms and conditions to be easily converted into a legally binding contract. Simply by filling in the relevant blanks throughout the document and the new schedule, the standard terms and conditions can be quickly and simply incorporated into a final, binding agreement without the need for too many different sets of documentation.
Each document is available in two versions, a “home” (or business to consumer) version and a “business” (or business to business) version. Both versions contain the same substantive elements with several differences in defined terms, obligations and dispute resolution – thus making each version more suitable for the target customer.
