This Private Members’ Club - Short Form Constitution is for a members club in the form of an unincorporated association. It may be used or adapted for a sports and/or social club, or for indeed any other type of “members’ club”.
This short form is suitable for any size club, but is likely to be better suited to smaller clubs with relatively modest assets/funds and membership numbers. The accompanying fuller Private Members’ Club - Long Form Constitution is likely to be more suitable for larger clubs with relatively substantial assets/funds and membership numbers.
This Private Members’ Club - Short Form Constitution is not suitable for a Community Amateur Sports Club or a club intended to be a charity or intended to be in the form of a company.
