Personal Protective Equipment Policy
HS.PP.01
This Personal Protective Equipment Policy is designed for businesses that
operate in industries where personal protective equipment (PPE) is required
to be worn by staff.
Companies must comply with the Personal Protective Equipment Regulations
1992 that impose a duty on employers to provide, assess, maintain and store
personal protective equipment (PPE) and instruct their employees in the use
of that equipment.
This policy has been updated in line with the General Data Protection
Regulation (GDPR), which requires employers to comply with principles for
processing personal data, including being transparent by providing
information to employees about personal data that they hold and how it is
used.
This Personal Protective Equipment Policy is in open format. Either enter
the requisite details in the highlighted fields or adjust the wording to
suit your purposes.
