Personal Protective Equipment - Reporting Loss or Defects
Employees who have been provided with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must immediately report to their employer any loss of that PPE or any obvious defect in it.
The employer should make arrangements to ensure that employees know to whom they should make their reports and the manner in which to report. These arrangements should also include reporting of any concerns about serviceability and other problems or suggestions as regards PPE.
