Updated Advertising Website Terms and Conditions
Online advertising, when done properly, is a fantastic way of reaching a wide audience. Of course, a lot of online advertising today has (not undeservingly) a bad name; but that doesn’t mean that there aren’t still some useful forms out there.
Classified ads can be used online to tremendous effect, and it remains a popular business model to provide a platform via which individuals and businesses can advertise a wide range of goods or services. Similarly, while search engines offer powerful marketing potential for businesses, for those looking to reach a smaller, local target audience, business directories or listing sites may be preferable.
Updated Website Terms for Premium Classified Ads and Business Directories
As part of our ongoing upgrade of our extensive Website Terms and Conditions Portfolio, we have now updated our “Paid Classified Ads” and “Paid Business Directory” terms and conditions. In common with other e-commerce-type templates, these documents have now been split into two: Terms of Use and Terms of Sale.
These templates also take a slightly different approach to many of our other e-commerce templates in that there are not separate versions for business-to-business and business-to-consumer transactions. The provisions in these documents therefore cover both types of customers, with some clauses expressly applying to business customers and others to consumer customers.
Only a few documents remain now in our long-running Website Terms and Conditions upgrade, due for completion in July. In addition to the updated documents, our portfolio is due for a significant re-organisation designed to make our website templates considerably easier to browse. More information will be coming to our subscribers soon!
