This Copyright Royalty Agreement is designed for copyright licensing arrangements where the works are defined by the parties in a schedule.
Royalty-Based Copyright Licence Payments
The licence granted by this agreement may be either exclusive or non-exclusive.
Payment may be by royalties alone, or by an initial fee, usually paid on the date of the agreement, followed by royalties.
The agreement also includes provision for an advance against royalties. Where an advance is used, it must be recouped before royalty payments begin.
Defining the Copyright Works and Project
The agreement is broad enough to cover a variety of copyright works. The works themselves are left open to be defined in a schedule.
The schedules cover the copyright works and the project for which the licensed rights are granted.
