Party Wall Agreements - New Guidance Notes and example Notice and Acknowledgment

New guidance notes on the requirements of the Party Wall etc Act 1996, together with an example party wall notice and example acknowledgment are now available.

The guidance notes provide an overview of:

• what constitutes party wall works;
•  when a party wall agreement is needed;
• serving a party wall notice and when works can commence; and
• what happens when there is a party wall dispute, the appointment of a party wall solicitor and the rights of the parties once an award has been made.
