Guarantee Performance Demand Letter

This template Guarantee Performance Demand Letter is designed for use in connection with any of the Guarantees in this subfolder under which a guarantor undertakes to a contractor’s customer/client to meet the contract obligations and liabilities of the contractor where the contractor fails to do so.

If the contractor defaults under its contract with its customer/client, the customer/client can then use this template letter to call on the guarantor under the guarantee to ensure that the contractor’s obligations and liabilities to the customer/client are met.

If the demand is instead to be served on a guarantor pursuant to a guarantee of payment by a customer to a supplier of goods or services where the supplier’s customer has failed to pay for the goods or services, please use the accompanying template Guarantee Payment Demand Letter.
