This Restaurant or Café Fire Safety Policy has been written for a restaurant, café, diner, coffee shop, or anywhere that invites people in to sit and eat or drink. Even for the smallest eatery business, having a fire safety policy is an important part of your management system for compliance under the Fire Safety Order 2005. 

This document is suitable for a small/medium restaurant and should be used in conjunction with the Fire Risk Assessment Form and Emergency Evacuation Procedures.

When this policy has been signed by the most senior person in your business, it will demonstrate the business’ commitment to ensuring the safety of employees and visitors to your premises from the dangers of fire.
