Contractual Tenancy Agreement Guarantee and Indemnity for Corporate Guarantor
This Contractual Tenancy Agreement Guarantee and Indemnity for Corporate Guarantor is a concise document containing the Guarantor’s commitment to pay the rent in the event of a default by the Tenant. The Tenant guarantor also agrees to pay compensation if the Landlord suffers any loss as a result of a breach by the Tenant of the terms of the tenancy agreement.
It also includes an indemnity which is a separate obligation to the guarantee, which provides greater protection for the Landlord. An indemnity obliges the Guarantor to compensate the Landlord for loss or damage and is not dependent on the tenant’s obligations being enforceable.
This template is for a corporate guarantor, such as a company, government body or other institution. It is designed for use in connection with one of our Contractual Tenancy Agreement templates. Landlords may require a Guarantor if the Tenant’s financial history is not strong.
