Bribery Act Policy
The Bribery Act 2010 came into force on 1st July 2011 with the principle aim of preventing acts of bribery and cleaning up business practices both in the UK and abroad.
The Bribery Act imposes a number of requirements and obligations upon business, particularly those dealing across borders and/or with public officials. From top-level management to employees, agents, subcontractors and other third-party associates, the responsibility for avoiding bribery and corruption applies throughout an organisation.
