This Fit-Out Consent Letter should be used where a tenant or licensee wishes to carry out minor alterations to the premises and, under the terms of the lease or licence, the owner’s consent is required.
The terms of this Consent Letter are less detailed than a more formal Licence for Alterations. The Consent Letter should therefore only be used for minor works, e.g. the erection of demountable partitioning or signage. Drawings and specifications showing the proposed works should be attached to the Consent Letter so that it is clear what the owner is consenting to.
Optional phrases / clauses are enclosed in square brackets. These should be read carefully and selected so as to be compatible with one another. Unused options should be removed from the document.
This Fit-Out Consent Letter is in open format. Either enter the requisite details in the highlighted fields or adjust the wording to suit your purposes.
