Catering Staff Employment Contract (Part Time) (EMP.CONT.01)
Document Description
This Catering Staff Employment Contract (Part Time) is designed to be applied to Catering, Bar or Restaurant staff and those who work in an environment which requires an in-built no smoking clause.

This Catering Staff Employment Contract (Part Time) has been updated to comply with the changes introduced on 1st April 2009, particularly, concerning the increase in the statutory holiday entitlement and payment in lieu of holiday. From 1st April 2009 statutory holiday entitlement increases to 28 days from 24 days, including public and bank holidays.

In relation to payment in lieu of holiday, from 1st April 2009 it is no longer possible to pay employees in lieu of them taking their full statutory holiday entitlement. However, payment in lieu of holiday above the statutory entitlement is allowed and a new clause has been included in the contract to reflect the change.

The Catering Staff Employment Contract comes in two versions – that can be applied for full time catering staff and an alternative for part time catering staff. This is the Part Time version. The Full Time version can be accessed from the related document links below.
