Holiday Entitlement Notice (Statement) (No Increase)
This Holiday Entitlement Notice is for use by employers who already comply with the increased holiday entitlement requirements taking effect on 1 st April 2009. As the changes in law are to the advantage of employees there is no need to vary their contracts. Employers should however keep their staff informed.
This statement is concise enough to be printed on a payslip and is designed so as to be general its application so that it can be posted on a staff notice board.
This Leave Entitlement Statement also states that no payment in lieu can be made for statutory holiday entitlement, and any carrying over of holiday above the compulsory 20 days is at the discretion of the company.
