Plumbing Terms and Conditions (Business)
These Plumbing Terms and Conditions (Business) are designed for use by plumbers providing their services to business clients. (A business client may range from the owner of business premises to a landlord seeking the services of a plumber to work on their residential properties.)
These terms of business are designed primarily for inclusion in a document such as a quotation or for display on a website. They can also be used as a stand-alone document. In each such case, it is assumed that the customer will issue a request/order for services, and that, in response, the Plumber will issue a quotation. A form of “Service Agreement” is also included as a Schedule. It enables these terms and conditions to be easily incorporated and converted into a formal legally binding agreement.
This document includes a simple cross-reference to a Privacy Policy. A range of Privacy Policy templates is available in our UK GDPR and Data Protection group.
Clauses in this document cover key factors including payment, the services themselves, the obligations of the respective parties, insurance and liability.
This document also includes a comprehensive set of “boilerplate clauses”. These standard clauses are designed to offer greater legal certainty and protection for all parties concerned.
An alternative version of these terms is available which is designed for use by plumbers rendering their services to domestic (consumer) clients.
Optional phrases / clauses are enclosed in square brackets. These should be read carefully and selected so as to be compatible with one another. Unused options should be removed from the document.
