Deed of Surrender of Tenancy Agreement (Single Tenant)

Deed of Surrender (Single Tenant)

PROP.RES.SL.14
This Deed of Surrender (Single Tenant) should be used where the Landlord and Tenant have agreed to bring a Tenancy Agreement to an end before the end of the contractual term.

The Deed provides for the Tenant to surrender the Tenancy Agreement to the Landlord and for both parties’ obligations under the Tenancy Agreement to come to an end. The Landlord may have agreed to pay a premium for the surrender (for example, if he urgently needs the property back) and there is optional wording to provide for this.

If there is more than one tenant who is party to the Tenancy Agreement, please use the Deed of Surrender (Joint Tenants).

Optional phrases / clauses are enclosed in square brackets. These should be read carefully and selected so as to be compatible with one another. Unused options should be removed from the document.

This Deed of Surrender (Single Tenant) is in open format. Either enter the requisite details in the highlighted fields or adjust the wording to suit your purposes.
