Register of Directors’ Residential Addresses

Companies are obliged under section 165 of the Companies Act 2006 to maintain a register to include the usual residential address of each individual director. This register is not open to the public. If the director's usual residential address is the same as his/her service address (as stated in the register of directors), the register of residential addresses need only contain an entry to that effect. However if the service address in the register of directors is stated to be the same as the company's registered office, the director's residential address must be stated in this register.
