This Office Worker/Administrator Employment Contract (Job Share)is designed to be applied to a wide variety of jobs, in particular Clerical, Administrative and Secretarial roles and many other junior levels. 

This contract has been recently updated to include new and improved clauses providing enhanced protection for the employer.

It contains a specific job share clause which sets out how the job-sharing arrangement will work in practice. Crucially, the clause clarifies what will happen if one job share partner decides to leave or is transferred within the Company. It ensures that the employer has maximum flexibility in handling such a situation.

The Pensions Act 2014 introduced a new state pension for people reaching state pension age on or after 6 April 2016, replacing the previous basic state pension and additional state pension and ending contracting out for defined-benefit schemes. This employment contract has been updated accordingly with the removal of the clause referring to the contracting out certificate.
