RIDDOR Form F2508 - Report Of An Injury Or Dangerous Occurrence

Death and certain injuries or accidents at work must be reported under the Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations (RIDDOR) 2013.

The employer or other person with responsibility under RIDDOR must keep a record of all over three day injuries, if the incapacitation is over seven days (not counting the day on which the accident happened) then the over seven day injury must be reported.

The Report of an Injury or Dangerous Occurrence form - F2508 must be sent to the Incident Contact Centre (details provided on the form) or your local HSE office or local authority within 15 days from the day of the accident. In the event of an injury or dangerous occurrence it is recommended that a full risk assessment and/or an internal investigation is carried out. Relevant documents provided below.
