Final Unauthorised Absence Letter

EMP.SCG.06

This Final Unauthorised Absence Letter should be used where an employee has failed to come into work, and has not contacted the employer to account for their absence.

This Letter should be used after the First Unauthorised Absence Letter has been sent to the employee, to give the employee notice of the date that employer is treating as the effective date of termination.

The Letter gives the employee the opportunity to refute the assumption that they have resigned, and to appeal the decision to accept the employee’s apparent resignation.

Optional phrases / clauses are enclosed in square brackets. These should be read carefully and selected so as to be compatible with one another.

This Final Unauthorised Absence Letter is in open format. Either enter the requisite details in the highlighted fields or adjust the wording to suit your purposes.
