Letter Enclosing Copy Strike Off Application (s.1006 CA 2006)
Within 7 days from the day on which a strike off application is made to the Registrar, a copy of the application MUST be sent to every person who at any time on that day is a member, employee, creditor or director of the company as well as any managers or trustees of employee pension funds (s.1006 CA06).
This letter can be used to enclose a copy of the application in order to comply with this Companies Act requirement. Section 1007 CA 2006 makes this a continuous obligation to notify anyone who falls into these categories until the application is finally dealt with and section 1008 CA 2006 states the provisions as to service of the copy application.
It is a serious offence not to send a copy of the application to relevant parties within 7 days of sending the application to the Registrar.
