Building and Construction Method Statements
This month Simply Docs has added a new Method Statement sub-folder to the Building/Construction folder.
Method Statements – or Safe Systems of Work as they are sometimes called are a valuable tool in your efforts to ensure the safety of your workforce on site. They require you to think about each site activity and where it will take place and to make sure you have built in suitable health, safety and welfare control measures.
The method statement templates include various checklists as a prompt for each of the areas that is likely to need consideration, such as; the PPE that may be needed, first aid cover, welfare facilities, any special training that may be needed by the operatives etc.
The documents include 3 example method statements fully completed to demonstrate how method statements should be used and filled in. There is also a blank method statement form that can be printed and used for your specific scenarios.
