Notice to make tenancy an AST instead of Assured Agricultural Occupancy (Wales)

Landlord’s Notice Proposing AST to Farm Worker Tenant (Wales)

PROP.RES.140

This Landlord’s Notice Proposing AST to Farm Worker Tenant (Wales) should be used by a landlord who wishes to grant an assured shorthold tenancy (AST) to a tenant who meets the conditions for an assured agricultural occupancy.

Assured agricultural occupancies are available to “qualifying agricultural workers”. They give the tenant a greater degree of security of tenure than is given under an AST.

To prevent the tenancy becoming an assured agricultural occupancy, the landlord must serve this notice on the tenant before the tenancy is entered into. This Notice (also known as a Form 9 Notice) is in the form prescribed by regulations made under the Housing Act 1988.

This form is suitable for property situated in Wales.

This Landlord’s Notice Proposing AST to Farm Worker Tenant (Wales) is in fixed field format. Simply press TAB to jump from one field to the next and SHIFT + TAB to go back. Alternatively, use the mouse to click from one field to the next.
