The tenant must provide information about its business, details of the owner, partners or directors and contact details for the tenant’s solicitors, accountants, bank and previous landlord. The tenant ticks boxes and signs the form to authorise the landlord to carry out credit checks and obtain references. The tenant also acknowledges receipt of the Privacy Notice for Tenants and Guarantors. This should be given to the tenant at the same time as this Application Form. If the landlord has concerns about the tenant’s financial position, it could require the tenant to provide security in the form of a rent deposit or one or more guarantors.
