In certain business transactions, particularly loans, it may be either desirable or necessary to appoint a third party to guarantee the obligations of one of the contracting parties. In certain cases, the appointment of a guarantor may be a prerequisite to the performance of the contract.
The Guarantees and Indemnity documents provided in this subfolder provide for guarantees of varying size and complexity – offering short and long form versions of the guarantee contract and those pertaining to goods and services. Both limited and unlimited guarantees are also provided for and should be selected carefully taking into account the requirements of the contracting parties and the best interests of all concerned. An indemnity agreement template is also available for situations where, as opposed to offering a guarantee, one party is required to compensate another in certain situations.
