Form N49 - Warrant for Possession of Land

This Form N49 Warrant for Possession of Land is the document issued by the Court authorising the Court Bailiffs to obtain possession of Property.

A Residential Landlord can apply for such a Warrant if the Court has made an Order for Possession under the accelerated procedure and the Tenant has failed to vacate by the ordered date.

Once a Warrant is made, the Bailiffs will give the Landlord an appointment when the Bailiff will attend the Property to execute the Warrant. See our Repossession Guidance for more information about the Warrant for Possession.
